To celebrate Martin Luther King Jr. Day, we are heading to the historic Auburn Avenue on Saturday, January 17th.
Why Auburn Avenue?
Known as the "birthplace of the Civil Rights Movement," It’s home to the Ebenezer Baptist Church, the MLK Jr. National Historical Park, and the very house where Dr. King was born.

Thank you to the 400 Volunteers who donated 1600hrs and collected 50000 gallons of trash from our public streets. Thank you for your contributions and for all the financial support that allows our mission to continue.
In 2025, Clean Walks set out with a clear mission: to restore the natural beauty of our local neighborhoods and foster a sense of pride across the Atlanta metro area. Thanks to an incredible outpouring of support, we have successfully removed thousands of gallons of litter from our streets, sidewalks, and greenspaces.
Our 2025 efforts focused on high-traffic corridors and residential hubs where litter impact is highest. From concentrated efforts along Sidney Marcus Blvd to neighborhood-wide sweeps in Chamblee and Doraville, our volunteers have been on the front lines of environmental stewardship. By removing 118 illegal signs and 14 abandoned shopping carts, we aren't just picking up trash—we are improving property values and community safety.
The backbone of our success is our dedicated community. This year, 314 volunteers stepped up, contributing a staggering 6,280 hours of service. Their hard work resulted in the collection of 294 large-scale bags of litter, preventing debris from entering our local drainage systems and waterways.
Whether you joined us for a single morning or helped lead a walk in an Atlanta neighborhood, your contribution has made a lasting impact on our local environment.
